Booking an Reservation by Phone

To book an appointment, you can call our receptionist during normal business hours and someone will be able to assist you. A credit card is required to secure all reservations.

To book a reservation, you may book online at any time. A credit card is required to secure all reservations.

Confirmations

As a courtesy we send out electronic appointment conformations 2 days before your appointment. If you do not receive a confirmation please check your account online with Meevo2 or call the salon at 978-658-9598.  Technology is not always perfect so we ask that you not rely on the confirmations alone. You are ultimately responsible for your appointment as scheduled.

Late Arrivals

We will do our best to accommodate late arrivals. If you miss more than 15 minutes of your appointment your stylist reserves the right to reschedule you. If you know that you are going to be late, we kindly ask that you call ahead so that we can better assess the situation. If your appointment can not be rescheduled for that day, a late cancellation fee will be applied.

Cancellations

Your appointments with Nicholas Scott Salon are very important to us. When you schedule a reservation for hair services,  we dedicate time in our chair just for you. Throughout the day, our staff stays busy disinfecting and sanitizing every surface so our salon will be clean and safe when you arrive.

Your reservation with your service provider is yours alone.  We will not double book you.  Not ever.

This is why canceling your reservation with less than 24 hours notice or missing your reservation without letting us know greatly impacts our team, especially during this unprecedented and difficult time.  Imagine planning an elaborate dinner for guests that cancel at the last minute - or worse, don’t show up at all! 

Sadly, we have seen a dramatic increase in late cancellations and no-shows since we have reopened and with last minute notice, clients who would have gladly taken the space are often not able to adjust their schedules in time and the reserved space sits empty.  This exacerbates an already very difficult situation since we have reopened.

For this reason,

We now require a credit card to secure all reservations.  To avoid any charge, reservations must be cancelled before 11:00 AM on the day prior to the reservation.  If your reservation is cancelled after 11:00 AM on the day prior to your reservation a $25 charge will be made to the card on file. Same day cancellations will be charged an amount equal to 20% of the booked service.  No call, no shows will incur a cancellation fee equal to the full amount of the booked service.  Clients who no call/ no show and would like to book additional appointments will be required to leave a deposit equal to 50% of the booked appointment.

Cancellations cannot be made online. They must be made by speaking with a receptionist, leaving a message on the salon voicemail, or emailing us at info@nicholasscottsalon.com.  

Payment For Services and Products

Discover, MasterCard, Visa, American Express, Check and Cash are accepted. Please note that there is a $50 bounced check fee.

Refunds

Nicholas Scott Salon does not extend refunds on services rendered. Your first visit color and all color changes may require multiple services that day or within 2 weeks of the initial service as there is no way for us to know exactly how your hair will react to the process. If you are not pleased with your hair we welcome you to contact us immediately so that we can schedule a complementary alteration within one week of the service provided. 

Product Refunds

Products may be exchanged or refunded with a receipt within 14 days. Products must be unopened and in its original condition and original packaging to be returned.

Tipping

Our stylists accept cash, Venmo and credit cards.

Children At The Salon

The salon environment contains many factors that can be dangerous for children. In the event that you must bring your child into the salon, please keep your children seated with you at all times; no running, yelling, hanging from chairs, windows, etc. For the safety and comfort of everyone, children under 12 are discouraged unless they are receiving a service.

If your child is watching a video or playing a game we ask that they use headphones as not to disturb our other guests.

Pets

With the exception of trained service animals, pets are not allowed in the salon due to Massachusetts State Law. It is a Health Code Violation that we cannot overlook.
